EdPuzzle is a free assessment-centred tool that allows teachers and students to create interactive online videos by embedding open-ended or multiple-choice questions, audio notes, audio tracks, or comments on a video. Edpuzzle interactive videos can be made with videos from a number of websites, including YouTube, TED, Vimeo, and National Geographic.

With Edpuzzle, instructors can select pre-existing videos or upload their own, and then add their own voiceovers, embed quizzes and questions, and monitor student progress and engagement. Students can watch the video lessons at their own pace, and the platform allows teachers to monitor which students have watched the video, how much of the video they watched, and their answers to any questions embedded in the video.
